We want to thank God for His amazing blessings and growth this past year! He has done amazing things in and through our worship ministry here at Calvary Chapel Las Cruces and we hope and pray that He has done many wonderful things in your life this past year as well. We've gone through many new experiences together as a team and as a church. We have also gotten to know a few new people who've shown interest in being a part of the Worship Team & Sound Ministry, as well as other ministries. We thank God for all of them as they are being used in great ways throughout the church!
We want to share with you the opportunity of going to this year's Calvary Chapel Worship Leaders Conference which will be held in Murrieta Hot Springs, CA (Calvary Chapel Bible College). We weren’t able to attend last year’s conference. Instead, we went to the Southwest Pastor’s and Leaders conference in Tucson, AZ, March 9th through the 11th. It was a blessing! This year's worship conference will be November 9th through November 12th and it’s a wonderful chance to be refreshed, encouraged and taught alongside other worship leaders from different Calvary Chapels from all around the globe!
You can have the opportunity to once again be a part of our ministry, whether it be prayer or financial support. We're starting to fundraise for the money we'll be needing for our trip to California. The amount needed to make this year's trip possible is $4,500. This price will cover the worship conference (which includes lodging, food, and all sessions and workshops), gas (for two vehicles this year!), extra lodging before and after the conference and extra food that is not covered by the conference... all for about 11 people this year! Of course if you cannot give financially, we would be even more appreciative of your prayers. We believe in the power of prayer! God will provide if it's His will for us to go this year and we'll also be grateful for your prayers of raising the money needed and for safe travels there and back.
Whether you feel led to help through prayer, money, or both, everything you do with a willing and grateful heart will be greatly appreciated and the Lord will bless you in return.
